Flour Buying Enquiry: Product Selection, MOQ & Quotation

Tell us what you plan to make, how you need the flour packed and where it will be delivered. A clear enquiry helps us review a suitable supply proposal.

Start With Your Application

You do not need to know every technical parameter before contacting Kanglu. If you are still choosing a flour, begin with the food you intend to produce and the result you want to achieve.

Explain whether you are buying for a bakery, food factory, retail brand, distributor or another application. Share the grain type or product category you are considering, together with any existing specification or reference product.

We can then discuss which products should be reviewed further and what information or sample evaluation is needed before confirming suitability.

Keep the first enquiry simple: Product or intended use, pack weight, estimated quantity and destination are enough to begin the discussion. Add technical requirements and document requests when available.

What Information Helps Us Prepare a Quotation?

Information What to Share Why It Matters
Product and Application Flour type, grain source and the food you plan to make. Helps identify a product for further review.
Specification Your specification sheet or the parameters that are essential to your purchase. Defines the requirements the proposed product needs to meet.
Packaging Net weight per bag, preferred bag format and standard or private label packaging. Affects packaging arrangements, cost and MOQ.
Quantity Estimated first order, quantity per product and expected repeat demand if known. Provides a basis for reviewing supply and pricing.
Destination Country and destination port or delivery location. Helps clarify delivery arrangements and the scope of the quotation.
Documents and Timing Required reports, certification documents, sample needs and target schedule. Identifies additional work that may affect cost and preparation time.

How Is the MOQ Confirmed?

The minimum order quantity is reviewed for the selected product and supply arrangement. It should not be assumed to be the same for every flour, pack size or private label project.

Please distinguish your first order from your expected future demand. If the first order is intended as a commercial trial, tell us the quantity you would prefer so that we can discuss the available options.

Standard Product Enquiry

Specify the product, packaging and trial quantity. Availability and the applicable MOQ can then be reviewed for that combination.

OEM or Custom Enquiry

Include any special specification, formulation or printed-packaging requirements. These may require separate production and packaging quantity confirmation.

Compare Quotations on the Same Basis

A quoted price is useful only when its scope is clear. When comparing offers, check that they refer to comparable products, packaging, quantities and delivery arrangements.

  • Product: Confirm the flour identity and agreed specification.
  • Price unit: Check whether the price is per bag, kilogram or metric tonne, and confirm the currency.
  • Packaging: Confirm the net weight and what packaging is included.
  • Additional costs: Clarify any separately charged artwork setup, printing, sampling or testing.
  • Delivery: Record the agreed delivery terms and named port or location.
  • Commercial details: Check quotation validity, payment arrangements and the proposed schedule.

If you need a quotation on a particular delivery basis, state that in your enquiry. Otherwise, ask us to clearly identify what the offer includes and which costs require separate confirmation.

What If You Do Not Have a Specification Sheet?

Describe your application and the characteristics that matter most to you. For example, explain the type of bread, noodles or other food you produce, your current flour and any performance issue you want to address.

A reference product or clear product description can help start the discussion. Final suitability should be assessed through agreed specifications and, where appropriate, trials in your own recipe and production conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Ask Which Flour Products Are Available?

Yes. Tell us your intended use and the grain or product category you are considering. We can discuss the current product information and identify options for further review.

Can I Request a Price Before Deciding the Packaging?

You can start an enquiry before every detail is settled. Any preliminary price should clearly state its packaging and quantity assumptions. The final offer needs to reflect the confirmed requirements.

Can I Start With a Smaller Trial Order?

Tell us your preferred trial quantity, product and packaging. We will review the available arrangements and applicable MOQ. A trial order should be discussed separately from a sample request.

Should I Send Testing Requirements With My Enquiry?

Yes, especially when specific test items, limits, methods or laboratories are required. Early review helps clarify whether additional testing, costs or preparation time need to be included.

Request a Flour Supply Proposal

Send Kanglu your intended application, preferred pack weight, estimated quantity and destination. If some details are still undecided, tell us what you already know and we can start from there.
